Rez your fish tank and position it before putting fish in the tank. After you position your tank, reset the tank from the Tank Menu before you put fish in it. The tank must be entirely in one sim and should be a minimum of 1 meter from a sim border.

Clicking the tank or fish control panel brings up the Fish Tank Main Menu 1.

The first line of the list is the number of fish in this tank and the tank's name.

Each fish is listed on two lines. The first line is the fish's number in the list, this number can be used to make selecting a fish easier if the fish's name is too long for the button in the Select Fish Menu. The fish's number may change when scan fish is run.

After the fish's number comes a symbol for a fish; ➽ or an egg; ☉. Eggs are also in the list so you can hatch them or bag them from the tank. Next is the fish's name, then it's gender, ♀ for female and ♂ for male. Third is the fish's version and last the species.

The second line is the fishes uuid. You should keep track of all your fishes' and eggs' uuids. Lost or broken fishes or eggs can be replaced with the uuid.

If some fishes or eggs you know are in the tank don't show up in the Fish List or on the Select Fish Menu, choose [scan fishes] from the tank menu.

[scan fishes] Scans the tank for fish and eggs and builds the fish list (shown with [list fish]). The fish list is updated automatically. If the list doesn't match the fish in the tank use this button to update the list.

[select fish] The select fish menu allows you to select one fish or egg for further commands.

Select Fish Menu

select fish menu

Select a fish or egg by clicking it's button. Each fish's button has it's number in the fish list and it's name truncated to fit the button. Eggs are marked with a "☉" and fishes with a "➽". Use the fish list and number to select the fish or egg you want if necessary.

Fishes or eggs may have duplicate names. The fish's number in the output of [list fish] is the same number shown in the Select Fish Menu.

[4➽ red F koi] This takes you to the Fish Selected Menu for this fish.

[0☉ blue F koi] This takes you to the Egg Selected Menu for this egg.

[all rest] Tells all the fish in the tank to rest. When fish are resting they are non-physical and don't swim so they use minimum resources. When fish are resting they still age, need to eat, and may breed.

[all swim] Tells all fish in the tank to swim.

[fish text
on/off] Turn the floating text for all fish on or off. When upgrading turn on floating text for all fish to keep track of the fish that have been upgraded. When a fish is upgraded it's floating text will be off.

[help] Load the help webpage or get a Landmark to the SecondPets™ Store.

[reset
tank] Resets the tank. It is safe to reset a tank containing fish. Resetting a tank resets all the tank's scripts and scans the fish again.

When the tank is finished reseting it will display the floating text (if there are 7 fish in the tank) 7 fish in SecondPets Fish Tank..

[next ►] Goes to Fish Tank Menu Main Menu 2.
